Bike Festival of India (BFI), a joint initiative of Rhiti Sports Management and Event Capital began in New Delhi on August 31, 2014. Indian cricketer Ishant Sharma flagged off the bikers. National Safety Ride is an initiative weaved under the ambit of the ‘Bike Festival of India’. The inaugural edition of the festival will be held at the Buddh International Circuit in Greater Noida on October 4 and 5,2014.
Indian cricket team captain and avid biker Mahendra Singh Dhoni is the brand ambassador for ‘Bike festival of India’. The BFI National Safety Ride will see six male and three female bikers on Triumph motorcycles – the official bike partner of National Safety Ride – riding across the country to spread awareness on safe biking.
The official BFI ‘National Safety Riders’ riders are Rahul Sharma, Rohan Monga, Jaspreet Aiden, R Venkat Raman, Sheetal Bidaye, Urvashi Patole, Pratish Ambekar, Anjaly Rajan and Sunil Gupta. The riders will be covering a total of 8100 kms over a span of 30 days. The riders will also halt at all the Triumph Motorcycles showrooms here in India and interact with riding enthusiasts in each of the cities.
